RENTAL TERMS

Film Equipment Rental Policy

1. Introduction

This Equipment Rental Agreement ("Agreement") outlines the terms and conditions under which [Visionary Lendz] ("Rental Company") rents equipment to the undersigned ("Renter"). By signing this Agreement, Renter agrees to adhere to these policies, terms, and conditions.

2. Reservation and Payment

  1. Booking: To secure equipment, Renter must submit a reservation request at least 3 days in advance. Reservations are not confirmed until a signed rental agreement and a deposit are received.

  2. Deposit: A non-refundable deposit  of the total rental cost is due at the time of booking to confirm the reservation. The balance is due  days before the rental date.

  3. Payment Methods: We accept payments via  { bank transfers, etc.].

  4. Late Payment: Late payments will incur a  penalty per day of delay

  1. Identification: Renter must provide valid government-issued ID and proof of address .

  2. Proof of insurance covering the rented equipment is required. The insurance policy should list the rental company and expiring date of policy  

.

3. Rental Period

  1. The standard rental period is  days, starting from [pick-up time] on the rental start date and ending at [return time] on the rental return date.

  2. Late Returns: Any equipment returned later than the agreed time will incur a late fee . Late return will be treated as a full additional rental day.

  3. Extension: If the Renter wishes to extend the rental period, they must notify the Rental Company at least  a day before the scheduled return. Extensions are subject to equipment availability and approval.

4. Equipment Pick-Up and Return

  1. Pick-Up: Equipment must be picked up at [Company Address] or as otherwise agreed. The Renter must inspect the equipment at the time of pick-up and sign a checklist to confirm the condition of the items.

  2. Return: Equipment must be returned in the same condition as when rented. Any missing or damaged items will be subject to replacement or repair fees.

  3. Packaging: All equipment must be returned in the packaging provided, with all accessories, cables, and components included.

5. Condition of Equipment

  1. Pre-Rental Inspection: Renter is responsible for inspecting all equipment at the time of pick-up. Any pre-existing damages or malfunctions should be reported immediately to avoid liability for damages that were not caused by the Renter.

  2. Usage: Equipment must be used only for its intended purpose and in accordance with the manufacturer’s guidelines. Renter agrees not to modify, disassemble, or misuse the equipment.

  3. Maintenance: Routine maintenance (e.g., cleaning, battery charging) is the responsibility of the Renter during the rental period. Failure to perform regular maintenance may result in additional charges.

6. Damage and Loss

  1. Accidental Damage: Renter is liable for any damages to the rented equipment, whether caused by accidental or negligent use. The Renter must immediately report any damage to the Company.

  2. Loss or Theft: In the event of equipment loss or theft, Renter must notify the Company immediately and file a police report within  hours. The Renter is responsible for the full replacement cost of the equipment.

  3. Insurance: We recommend that Renter purchase insurance to cover potential loss or damage. If Renter does not have insurance, they agree to be fully liable for the replacement cost of any lost or damaged equipment.

7. Cancellation and Rescheduling

  1. Cancellation: Cancellations made at least 7 days before the rental start date will receive a  refund of the rental fee. Cancellations made less then 7 days before the rental start  date  will forfeit the deposit.

  2. Rescheduling: If Renter needs to reschedule, they must notify the Rental Company at least 3 days in advance. Rescheduling is subject to equipment availability and may incur additional fees.

8. Liability and Indemnity

  1. The Renter agrees to hold the Rental Company harmless and indemnify it against any and all claims, damages, or injuries arising from the use of rented equipment.

  2. The Rental Company is not liable for any delays, malfunctions, or damage to the project or production arising from the use of the equipment.

9. Force Majeure

  1. The Rental Company will not be held liable for any failure to perform its obligations if such failure is due to causes beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, or equipment shortages.
